Grapa Di Vaia - 2114 mt

From Bagolino passing through Pineta street you arrive at the ringroad you go right towards Mignano untill a bridge called Destrone, at about 50 mt there is a not asphalted road on the right. You take it and, when the road turns left, here it starts a mule-road that goes up steep and leads to an asphalted road in front of a small chapel. You follow the road on the right untill you arrive at a white house, next to it there is the mule-road again that goes to a cemented one. The place is called Bree. You cross a stream called Vaia and you go left then again right at a place called Pra di Vaia where there are two streams Vaia and Dasdana. The track goes on,north direction, through what remains of old dairy farms and then arrives at a dairy farm of Fondo Vaia where you find the track that comes from Grapa di Vaia. The route goes on to the valley untill Malga Mezzo di Vaia. You keep on going up passing through Vaia lake and Cascinello and you arrive at Grapa di Vaia at 2114 mt. From this Passo you arrive at Crocedomini- Maniva.To come back it is better to go the same direction you take before or go to the road that takes to Maniva or Crocedomini and follow one of the routes that leads to the valley.
