Around Blumone

From Bagolino you go on the trunk road to P.sso Crocedomini and you arrive at Gaver after about 13 km. Before the hotel Blumone you find a not asphalted road that leads to Gaver plain and once you have passed the Locanda Gaver, near a small alpine church you can park. Here starts the route that takes you to an alpine hut called Tita Secchi at the Vacca lake. The track n. 17 goes up steep through a pine wood. You pass near some dairy farms such as Laione di Sotto, di Mezzo, and the Cascinetto, half destroyed, then you arrive at the alpine hut dominated by the Blumone mountain. Following the mule-road you arrive at Passo del Blumone. Then you go on till Passo del Termine, 2335 mt, (pole with track sign n.1 and n.32). Once arrived you go down to the valley (track sign n.26) and you arrive at Gaver plain, the starting point.
