Crossing Dosso Alto, Passo Maniva.

• Difficulty: E – the return from Dosso Alto to Passo Maniva EE

From Bagolino you go Maniva direction. After about 8 km at Pissisidolo crossroad you turn left till a bridge on the road of Rio Recicandé. Here it starts the track to Dosso Alto ( a pole with signs is present) track n.407. Going up on the track you cross a stream and near a bar you turn right. The mule-road goes up inside a wood then you arrive at a channel that is now completely covered by vegetation. Here you take the track on the left. Going up you cross all “Ganda” and you arrive near a small building called “ Roccolo di Campadello” that once was used as a hut for hunting birds.The track goes on on the right (white and red track sign) and leads to the the south-east top, 2060 mt. To come back you go down to Passo Maniva following the 3V track (white and light blue) that is steep at the beginnig but easy to go afterwards. You arrive at the wide square of Passo Maniva,1630 mt. There you take an asphalted road that leads to Bagolino. You can go down even through the grass, following the skilift.Then you find the asphalted road again and there you find a mule-road (sign n.407) that takes you to Pissisidolo.
